Georgia Receives Multi-Party Support from Greece in Euro-Atlantic Integration Process

As part of the state visit to the Hellenic Republic, the President of Georgia, H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili has held a meeting with the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis to discuss Georgia-Greece strategic relations.

"It is noteworthy that the visions of the Greek government and opposition on Georgia are similar. It is crucial the Greek opposition to also show interest in resolving important strategic issues, such as Georgia's European and NATO integration and occupation of Georgian territories," Political Secretary of President Margvelashvili, Ms. Pikria Chikhradze said following the meeting.

The meeting has also been attended by the Head of Administration of President Margvelashvili, Mr. Giorgi Abashishvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Vakhtang Makharoblishvili, Advisor to President Margvelashvili for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tengiz Pkhaladze, Advisor to President Margvelashvili in Ethnic Minority Issues, Ms. Sophio Shamanidi, and Ambassador of Georgia to the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Ioseb Nanobashvili.
