Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Hellenic Republic H.E. Levan Beridze participated in the second symposium of the Greek Youth Diaspora
On November 25, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Hellenic Republic, H.E. Levan Beridze, participated in the second symposium of the Greek Youth Diaspora, which aimed to deepen cooperation with youth diaspora organizations ensuring their close connection with their homeland and the active involvement of young representatives of the diaspora in the country's development process.
The symposium was opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, H.E. Giorgos Gerapetritis. The Minister addressed the audience and highlighted the role of the diaspora in presenting the state's identity and culture abroad. According to the Minister, the annual symposium is a good opportunity to jointly address the challenges facing the diaspora.
Within the framework of the symposium, the Georgian Ambassador met with the representatives of Georgian-Greek youth diaspora organizations, Ms. Megi Sharia and Ms. Eleni Politova who shared their experiences and visions in various directions with the Ambassador.
The symposium was attended by representatives of the Greek legislative and executive authorities, members of the diplomatic corps and founders of youth diaspora organizations in various countries.
