On December 10, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Levan Beridze, participated in the conference organized by the European Institute of Technology “28DIGITAL”, where experts, researchers, and specialists discussed the rapid development of technology, innovation, and the startup ecosystem in Europe as well as the role of digitalisation of different sectors and its affect on economic growth of the countries. Georgian Ambassador in his speech discussed about Georgia's innovation and technology ecosystem and startup environment and he emphasized the useful tax regulations that exist in Georgia for foreign investors and businesses.
The Director of the Land Transport Agency (LEPL) of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mr. Bakur Mikadze in the framework of his official visit in Athens, met with the General Director of Transportation of the Hellenic Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Dr. Ioannis Matsas and the representatives of the Ministry. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Greece in the State Transportation field as well as deepening collaboration in transit access and logistics sectors. During the meeting, the demand of increasing the number of legal transit permits from both sides was highlighted.
