The Ambassador of Georgia to the Hellenic Republic H.E. Levan Beridze, met with the newly elected President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ioannis Bratakos
On April 29, the Ambassador of Georgia to the Hellenic Republic H.E. Levan Beridze, met with the newly elected President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Ioannis Bratakos and his team.
During the meeting, trade and economic cooperation between Georgia and Greece was discussed, as well as the opportunities to develop better collaboration in this area. Parties discussed Implementation of joint projects of the Chambers of Commerce of two countries and the possibilities for organizing trade missions between Georgia and Greece.
The topic of the importance of innovation and technology ecosystems and deepening the cooperation in this sector was highlighted from both sides and in this regard organising and promoting joint StartUp events in the two countries have been agreed upon.
The Embassy of Georgia to the Hellenic Republic and the the ACCI agreed to continue to work together to further strengthening the cooperation in the above mentioned fields and will plan relevant consultations involving Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency to effectively coordinate efforts for stronger partnership.
Deputy Chief of Mission, of the Embassy of Georgia, David Jalagania and Eleni Foti, Director of International Relations Department of ACCI participated in the meeting.
